I just got 3 pages in the NEW Illustrator CS3 WOW! Book! My work is showcased on, I believe, pages 360 and 361 (I am pretty sure those are the pages... I don't have the book with me right now, but they are somewhere around those pages.) AND my work is on page 373! You know, for some reason i knew that you knew about this site. It's nice to see your work again. It's amazing how much attention it gets. I feel honored to be a student of your's. I only have that "self portrait" project to offer. The one I made for one of your class projects.(Orange Coast College). I'm doing a web page design class right now. So, I'll be spending some serious time with Illustrator in the next few weeks.

Hi fellow Titan. I got a BA in '81, a MA in '86, and an MFA in '03 from CSUF, all in Graphic Design. I also did the "freeway flyer" teaching gigs while running a freelance business. Moved to Florida 3 years ago to teach full-time at Palm Beach Atlantic University.

Is Larry Johnson still around? I don't know if he will remember me or not, I took a History of Illustration class with him several years ago. If you run into him, Jerry Samuelson, or John Drew tell them Dave Pounds said "Hi".

Love your work. Your subject matter looks like more detail work than I would have the patience for, but the results are outstanding.
